Description

RECOVERY - The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service requests quotes for Ultraviolet (UV) Disinfection System Electronic Ballast Replacements at the Green Lake National Fish Hatchery located in Ellsworth, Maine. This procurement is set-aside for small business. The work under this project consists of installation of Government provided electronic germicidal ballasts (112 ea.) to replace existing ballasts, provide and install new hour meters (45 ea.) and quartz lamp sleeve caps (960 ea.) as specified. Estimated magnitude of this project is between $25,000. and $100,000. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 238210. The small business size standard is $14 million. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered. The solicitation package including technical specifications and proposal documents will be posted to www.fbo.gov on or about February 26, 2010. Quotes will be due on March 24, 2010 by 4:00 pm (eastern standard time). Interested contractors must be registered at the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website at www.ccr.gov and complete Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) at www.bpn.gov, to be eligible for award. Department of Labor Davis-Bacon wage rates will apply to this work.
