- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, (MCAAP) McAlester, OK has a requirement to obtain comprehensive eye and visual examinations and prescription safety glasses per the attached scope of work during the period March 1, 2010 through September 30, 2011. A Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for this period will be awarded as a result of this request. No guaranteed minimum exams or glasses. The government will only be obligated to the extent of authorized calls actually placed against the resulting agreement. Prices will be firm-fixed. FOB is destination. Awarded quantities will be issued as individual call orders against the resulting BPA. Call orders will also establish deliveries for any awarded quantities. The successful offeror will be required to invoice all charges through Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF). Quantities on the schedule are yearly estimates for quoting and evaluation purposes only. The proposed BPA is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. Offers from other than small business concerns will not be considered.
