Description
The United States Air Force through Global Logistics Support Center (GLSC) at Oklahoma City Logistics Center (OC-ALC) is contemplating to procure repair of Line items cited below for a firm fixed-priced Requirements type contract with one (1) basic year and four (4) one year options with 100% contractor furnished material. This is a sole source integration and repair effort to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Eldec Corporation. History: Previous acquisition 30 September 2005, Eldec Corporation. IAW FAR 5.207(c)(15)(ii), All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. 1)Estimated issue date and estimated closing/response date issued: 26 February 2010 and 29 March 2010. 2)SOL # FA8117-10-R-0009 PR # FD2030-10-26874 3)Repairs 4)AMC- N/A 5)Noun- Battery Charger (Applicable to B-52) 6)NSN- 6130-01-395-1611 FG 7)P/N- 8-803-02 8)Description- The unit using complex analog and digital electronic circuitry monitors and charges a 40 amp hour Ni-cad battery for the B-52. The unit will indicate when the batteries are ready for flight and when batteries are near depletion. Dimensions: length 7.68 inches, width 12.53 inches, height 7.66 inches. Material Content: Metal Alloys with electronic parts. 9)Total Line Item Quantities: Item 0001 - BEQ Basic Year: 32 eaBEQ Option Year I: 32 eaBEQ Option Year II: 32 eaBEQ Option Year III: 32 eaBEQ Option Year IV: 32 ea Item 0002 -Over and Above Item 0003 -Data in accordance with DD1423 and Appendix B NSP (Not Separately Priced) 10)Application- B-52 Aircraft 11)Destination- FB 2039, Tinker AFB, OK. 73145-9013 12)Delivery- Item 0001: 6 each per month beginning 45 days ARO or repairable assets received for Basic Yr, Option Yr I, Option Yr II, Option Yr III and Option Yr IV. 13)Qualification Requirements- Standard Inspection (FAR 52.246-2, -3, -4, -5, or -6 as Applicable to Contract) 14)Export Control: No 15)If unit price exceeds $5,000, then UID requirements will apply. 16)Mandatory Language- An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from Offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. The proposed contract action is for a repair, for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. A Determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
