- Description
- U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) anticipates contracting with Coastal Aircraft Parts, 2999 NW 115th Terrace, Sunrise FL 33323 for 20 each, MH-47 Combat Cushion Set W/Covers, P/N 31046-1-A1, for the MH-47G Aircraft and 38 each, CH47 Pilot/Copilot Sets W/ Fabric & Wool, P/N 34MCH0F. The proposed action is for items that are designed, developed and manufactured by Coastal Aircraft Parts and the Government does not own specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to solicit only one source under authority FAR 6.302-1. Firms that feel they can provide this item or equal are encouraged to identify themselves. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal, however, the Government will consider all proposals received by the specified due date (in accordance with FAR 5.203(a)). A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition is solely within the discretion of the Government. The estimated release date of the solicitation is 23 February 2010.
