- Description
- The Single and Dual Telemetry Kits are produced in accordance with the NAWCWD Statements of Work and meet the required form, fit, and function requirements of the current Technical Data Package (TDP) 13593285 and13590840 for a pre-existing Patriot missile system boattail section. The single telemetry kit consists of one (1) RF transmitter, antenna set, Power Diode Assembly (PDA), kit installation hardware and RF cables. The dual telemetry kit consists of two (2) RF transmitters, antenna set, diplexer, kit installation hardware, Telemetry Electronic Module (TEM), TEM cable, and RF cables. At the component level, the kit requires transmitters (single-and dual-frequency), diplexers, antennas, and hardware mounting kits (single- and dual-frequency). Some components may be subject to military standard or military specification requirements. Some components require prequalification of a vendor under Source Control Drawings. To qualify a product under a Source Control Drawing, a vendor's product must undergo article qualification at their own expense. A maximum of ten (10) dual telemetry kits and one (1) single telemetry kit will be produced. These Telemetry Kits are intended to support a U.S. Army Patriot Test and Training program. The U.S. Army has a scheduled missile firing program that begins March 2011. Preparation and testing of the Patriot Missile System with the telemetry kit requires the kits to be at the field activity by December 2010.
