Description
THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER INDEFINITE DELIVERY INDEFINITE QUANTITY (IDIQ) CONTRACTORS WITHIN VISION 21:VA261-C-0413 BVB CONSTRUCTION VA261-C-0422 PATRIOT CONSTRUCTION VA261-C-0419 SF & ASSOCIATES VA261-C-0420 HERRERA ENGINEERINGA request for proposal will ONLY be issued to the above mentioned IDIQ Contractors and a contract/task order will be awarded to the selected IDIQ Contractor to perform the following requirements: The contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to construct the membrane structure, concrete walk, foundation and chain-link fences in Livermore Division complete and fully operational as shown on drawings and specifications. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: A. Demolition: 1. Demolish, remove and dispose of all existing chain-link fence around the existing reservoir. 2. Demolish, remove and dispose of existing ridge vents and galvanized sheet metal roofing per drawings. 3. Demolish, remove and dispose of existing indicator, pulleys and float per drawings. 4. Demolish, remove and dispose of existing doors per drawings. B. Interior construction is composed of: 1.Install 1/2 wire mesh screen over the open ridge of the existing galvanized sheet metal structure. C. Exterior construction is composed of: 1.Build new membrane structure, per Sprung Instant Structures design, to enclose the existing galvanized sheet metal structure per drawings: a.Field verify existing dimensions and conditions. b.New membrane structure to be Type IIB and IBC 2006 compliant. c.Provide new locking entrance doors on the new membrane structure, per drawings. d.Provide natural lighting through new integrated skylights on the new membrane structure into the existing sheet metal structure. e.Provide new vents on the new membrane structure to allow natural ventilations per IBC 2006, 1203.4. f.Build new framing and foundation per manufacturer specifications, manuals and IBC 2006 Chapter 16. 2.Build new chain-link fence, around the new membrane structure with new entrance gates, per drawings. 3.Build new concrete walk around the new membrane structure, to be connected to the membrane structure foundation, per drawings. 4.Relocate existing solar panel to south facing unobstructed location within the new fenced area. 5.Remove construction debris and restore site after construction. Recycle debris material where possible. The NAICS Code is 236210. The Magnitued of construction for this requirement is Under $500,000.00
