Description

RECOVERY The work of this contract is located at George Washington Memorial Parkway, McLean, Virginia. It consists of Upgrading Sanitary Sewer Lift Stations. The services to be performed under this contract consist of replacing three sewage ejection systems at locations along the George Washington Memorial Parkway. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 237110 with a small business size standard of $33.5 million of annual average gross revenues of the total concern for the last 3 fiscal years. This project is being solicited and awarded in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, Public Law 100-656. (Federal Acquisition Regulation 19.10) Accordingly, it is open to all small and large responsible offerors. However, a HUBZone small business price evaluation factor will apply. The project magnitude is estimated to be between $50,000 and $150,000. The solicitation with specifications, drawings, and wage rates will be posted to the websites http://www.fedbizopps.gov and http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about 03/02/2010. TELEPHONE OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. No hard copies of the solicitation package will be mailed or issued. To receive the solicitation package you must download it from http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Contractors must register on the website in order to retrieve copies of the solicitation and any possible amendments. Instructions are contained on the website for downloading solicitation and attachments. It is the responsibility of all interested contractors to acknowledge ALL amendments to the solicitation. To download the solicitation all interested offerers must have a DUNS number. To receive a DUNS number please contact Dun & Bradstreet at 1-800-333-0505. All responses will be delivered by express mail or hand carried by 2:00 PM EST, 04/02/2010. Proposal due date is approximate; actual date will be established at the time solicitation documents are available. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the Government.
