- This is a sole source announcement. No solicitation will be prepared or madeavailable. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Pacific (SSC Pacific)intends to award a modification to contract N66001-07-D-0055 awarded toDelphi Research, Inc. on 01 March 2007. This modification will extend theperiod of performance by one (1) year and increase the available ceiling by37,800 hours. Delphi has been providing Information Assurance (IA) systemsengineering and technical services to SSC Pacific for the past three years.Specific areas of IA activities include computer network defense, cryptography,key management, certification and accreditation, training, installation anddevelopment, and maintenance of software. These information assuranceengineering services are being provided to network and information systemsthat are currently operational and/or under development.The one year extension will be utilized to better transition work considered tobe at a critical stage where duplication of costs and/or delay in delivery willadversely affect the war fighter. Work that continues at SSC Pacific willtransition to N66001-09-D-0014 (American Systems Corporation) or N66001-09-D-0061 (Booz Allen Hamilton). Both of these contracts were competitivelyawarded in FY09. Interested persons may identify their interest andcapabilityto respond to the requirement or submit proposals via email tocerise.aguilar@navy.mil. This notice of intent is not a request forcompetitiveproposals. However, all capability statements received within twenty (20) daysafter date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by theGovernment.A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action basedupon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of theGovernment.Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose ofdetermining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The applicableNAICS code is 541512. Central Contractor Registration is required for allvendors doing business with DOD. Information may be found at www.ccr.gov.
