Description
The 22d Contracting Squadron has a sole source requirement to purchase items described below. This is a streamlined combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only notice. A written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), number FA4621-10-T-0010, in accordance with FAR Parts 12 & 13. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-38, effective 1 February 2010. IAW 10 U.S.C. 2304c(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 - Only One Responsible Source will satisfy agency requirements. A Firm Fixed Price award will be made to Alliant Healthcare Products, 8850 M 89 Ste A, Richland, MI, 49083-8558, in accordance with the Schedule of Supplies. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency IAW FAR 6.302-1. The associate North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) number is 339112 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. This is an unrestricted acquisition. McConnell Contracting Squadron has a requirement to purchase five Impaction Drills and one motor controller unit; Line Item 0001, Stryker Core Impaction Drill (5400-300-000); Qty - 5, unit of issue - each, unit price; extended price; Line Item 0002, Stryker Core Motor Controller (5400-050-000); Qty - 1, unit of issue - each, unit price; extended price. Prices quoted must be Firm-Fixed price to include shipping and handling charges based on F.O.B Destination. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The existence of the ombudsman does not affect the authority of the program manager, contracting officer, or source selection official. Further, the ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals, the source selection process, or the adjudication of protests or formal contract disputes. The ombudsman may refer the party to another official who can resolve the concern. (b) Before consulting with an ombudsman, interested parties must first address their concerns, issues, disagreements, and/or recommendations to the contracting officer for resolution. Consulting an ombudsman does not alter or postpone the timelines for any other processes (e.g., agency level bid protests, GAO bid protests, requests for debriefings, employee-employer actions, contests of OMB Circular A-76 competition performance decisions).
