- RECOVERY-THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A NOTICE FOR SOLICITATION OF OFFERS. THE ACTION DESCRIBED HEREIN IS A MODIFICATION TO AN EXISTING CONTRACT, DOLJ08QA00002. THIS OPPORTUNITY WAS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTOR IDENTIFIED BELOW. This opportunity was available only to Adams & Associates, Inc. under contract number DOLJ08QA00002. The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management on behalf of the Office of Job Corps intends to award a modification in the amount of $35,003 to the Shriver Job Corps Center, operated by Adams & Associates, Inc. These funds are provided under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The funding is within the not-to-exceed ceiling for Equipment on this contract. It would have been impracticable to use a fixed price contract to secure services of the kind or quality required for this modification, since the modification was to an existing Cost Plus Incentive Fee contract (Cost Reimbursement Contract). The funding is intended to procure the following: Driver's Education Simulator, Training Vehicle for Automotive Career Techincal Training classroom, and Green Equipment Projects. The operator of the Shriver Job Corps Center will make these funds available through procurement opportunities, following all applicable FAR procurement regulations. This Modification has been awarded on February 19, 2010.
