The US ARMY CECOM LCMC intends to acquire 650 (ea) export commercial EOTECH-552 Holographic Weapon Sight; 225 (ea) export commercial AN/PEQ-2A Target Pointer/Aiming Light; 225 (ea) export commercial Infrared Illuminator/Tactical Light; 3 (ea) export commercial Purge Kit to support the AN/PVS-14 Night Vision Monocular; 3 (ea) export commercial Purge Kit Adapter to support the AN/PVS-14 Night Vision Monocular; 3 (ea) export commercial Special Tool Kit to support the AN/PVS-14 Night Vision Monocular; In-country Contractor Furnished Basic Operator and Intermediate Level Maintenance Training NTE 4 days; 500 (ea) export commercial AN/PVS-14 GEN II Type Night Vision Monocular FOM 1600. Salient Characteristics: The export commercial AN/PVS-14 Night Vision Monocular includes the following: headset, headset adapter, demist shield, sacrificial filter, soft carrying case, lens paper, operators manual, and battery. Export commercial Infrared Illuminator/Tactical Light, including: Ring/Arms Mount and Pressure Pad. Export commercial Purge Kit to support the AN/PVS-14 Night Vision Monocular. Export commercial Purge Kit Adaptor to support the AN/PVS-14 Night Vision Monocular. Export commercial Special Tool Kit to support the AN/PVS-14 Night Vision Monocular. In-Country Contractor Furnished Training for AN/PVS-14 Night Vision Goggles. 1)Program of Instruction: Operator/Intermediate Level Training 2)Length of the Course: 8 hours per day for 4 days 3)How the course will be taught: a)Background. The course will teach personnel from the customers facility to operate, troubleshoot, and perform operator Intermediate Level Maintenance on the Night Vision System to include operation of the Test Equipment. b)Conduct. The training will be performance-oriented training and task related. The U.S. instructor will select the tasks identified for training. Training will be hands-on and will be conducted throughout the course. Not less than 70% of the course will be practical exercise and student practice. 4)Instructional Intent: The students will understand and perform the intermediate and operator tasks required to properly operate and maintain the Night Vision Systems from the commercial operator manual. The role and use of any Intermediate level test equipment, such as the TS-4348/UV, and the ANV-126 will be taught in this instruction. 5)Training Objectives: a)System description, theory of operation and features of the system. b)Operator of the Night Vision System c)Operation and maintenance level troubleshooting d)Operation and use of any required Intermediate Level Maintenance Equipment such as the TS-4348/UV, and the ANV-126 Test Sets 6)Number of students: Up to 10 students can be accommodated for the operator and intermediate level instruction 7)Language: a)The course of instruction, including all materials, will be provided in English. b)The customer country will provide a translator for the course with sufficient technical vocabulary to translate the instruction if required. The translator should be available at least one day prior to the course start to view the material and discuss the conduct of instruction. c)Any translation of the course material will be the responsibility of the customer country unless specified in the delivery order. Please state delivery ARO. Other information/requirements: 1. Figure of Merit must not exceed 1600 FOM, minimum for Tube Signal to noise Ratio of 18 and minimum Resolution of 45. 2. If you are a reseller/distributor you must disclose the manufacturer of the Tubes. 3. Please state delivery ARO. 4. If you are a reseller/distributor you must disclose the manufacturer of the AN/PVS-14, and the Country of origin of ALL ITEMS listed. 5.
