Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN 3), James J. Peters VA Medical Center, Bronx New York, Network Acquisitions and Logistics program is currently seeking firms, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, Hubzone, 8(A) OR Small Business with theability to perform Automatic Door Service PMI: Repair, Replace, Maintain, Including Vandalism Damage And Abuse To All Automatic Doors, Sliding Doors, Swinging Doors, All Glass Doors, Operators, Actuators, Controls, Switches, Cover Plates, All Related Hardware And Wiring Associated With Maintaining The Equipment At The James J. Peters Medical Center Located at 130 West Kingsbridge Road, Bronx, NY 10468 Monthly Preventative Maintenance shall be performed on all doors. This shall consist of inspections, lubrications, adjustments, cleaning, removing debris from tracks, channels, etc. and replacement of parts as needed with original manufacturer's parts. It includes but is not limited to: Operators, glass doors, glass, frames, door bucks, floor mats, mat trim, safety mats, door hinges, pivot pins, door cylinders, arms, press wall switches, rubber gaskets, weather stripping, pivots, and controls as required, floor checks and all related hardware. All maintenance personnel directly engaged in the work to be accomplished shall possess, prior to their start of work, documentation that they have a minimum of 5 years of recent journeyman experience on similar automatic door equipment. Firms desiring consideration shall email directly to the Contracting Officer referencing the following in the subject field, "Automatic Doors PMI VA-243-10-RQ-0224". Email should contain the following information: Name of firm, Socio-Economic category of the firm (SDVOSB, VOSB, 8A, HUBZONE or SMALL BUSINESS), complete address, phone & fax number of contact.
