Description
RECOVERY TAS::14 1041::TAS RECOVERY BUFF PMIS # 152718 Repair Fences to Protect Visitors and Preserve Resource Habitat COMMODITY TO BE PROCURRED: Traction matting or similar product which is needed to protect historic mining haul roads and trails while using wheeled transport vehicles and equipment, which are approximately 5 feet wide, on said roads trails. The roads and trails are gravelly, range from gentle to steep, and are roughly 8 feet in width. They are surfaced with a fine gravel derived from the ore milling process. The gravel tends to spin out on steep sections of the trail when wheeled equipment is used. The material will be driven on daily by a vehicle with a maximum GVWR of 5000 pounds for a period of three months. At the end of the three months, the material will be removed and stored until the next annual cycle. LOCATION: Buffalo National River, National Park Service, Harrison, Arkansas 72601 SOLICITATION NUMBER: Q7150100009 NOTICE TO POTENTIAL OFFERORS: This procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRY CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM (NAICS) CODE is 313221. SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD is 500 employees. MAGNITUDE OF THIS PROCUREMENT: $3,000 TO $25,000. TYPE OF CONTRACT: A firm-fixed price supply contract. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The finished product is to be delivered and received by Buffalo National River no later than 45 days from the date the successful offeror has been awarded the contract. PUBLICIZING AND RESPONSE TIME: The solicitation package will be issued on or about FEBRUARY 23, 2010 with a response date of MARCH 5, 2010. Solicitation packages may be obtained via the Internet by accessing the National Business (NBC) Opportunities web site at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. For technical assistance related to this electronic commerce system, please contact the NBC EC Help Desk at (703) 390-6707. Offerors will also be responsible for checking the website for any amendments to the solicitation issued prior to the closing date of the RFQ. A solicitation package may also be obtained by contacting the Contracting Officer via e-mail at kathryn_logsdon@nps.gov. All quotation packages must be submitted by the offerors in hardcopy; either hand-delivered, mailed, or faxed to the address or fax number identified in the RFQ. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if received by the Contracting Officer by the closing date and time of the RFQ, will be considered by the contracting agency. CCR AND ORCA: Effective October 1, 2003, active registration in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database is mandatory to be granted an award. The successful offeror, prior to being awarded the contract, must be registered and active in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database which can be accessed online at www.ccr.gov. If the successful offeror does not become registered and active in the CCR database in the time prescribed by the Contracting Officer, the Contracting Officer will proceed to offer award to the next otherwise successful offeror. It is highly recommended that should it be your intention to submit an offer in response to the RFQ, that you become registered in CCR upon receipt of the solicitation so as not to delay award of the procurement if offered. The successful offeror will also be required to have completed their Representations and Certifications which can be completed online at http://orca.bpn.gov.
