- Preventative Maintenance Agreement for GE AMX4 X-ray Units THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ). A solicitation is not being issued at this time and this notice shall be not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The 633d Contracting Squadron is seeking possible sources to provide preventative maintenance, calibration and repairs of two (2) GE AMX4 X-ray units (under NAICS 811219) in support of Langley AFB, Hampton, VA. Comments on this NAICS and suggestions for alternatives must include supporting rationale. Any submissions of suggested NAICS codes will be treated as a suggestion only which may or may not be used and does not bind the government to use the provided NAICS code. The period of performance will for one (1) base year period and four (4), one (1) year option periods. Responses to this acquisition will assist the Government in identifying potential sources and determining if a set-aside of the solicitation is appropriate. Interested parties are requested to submit a statement of capability outlining their experience and past performance that is related to this requirement as seen in the attached Preventative Maintenance Agreement. The statement of capability shall also include: point of contact with name, phone, email information, business status, business size and a positive statement of interest to submit a quote. Any information provided by industry to the Government as a result of this sources sought synopsis is strictly voluntary. No entitlements to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges to the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses, or the Government's use of such information. The information obtained from industries responses to this notice may be used in the development of an acquisition strategy and future RFQ. Please note that FEDBIZOPPS will be the primary source of information for this acquisition. Interested parties should check FEDBIZOPPS for updates frequently. The Government will not reimburse the contractor for any costs associated with preparing or substituting a response to this notice.
