- This solicitation is for an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) that will provide stock replenishment coverage in support of military depots. In addition to those NSNs specified in Section B of the solicitation, the scope of the contract includes all DLA and DOD managed NSNs for which Acme Aerospace, Inc. (Cage Code 31467) is an approved source. NSNs within the scope may be added to this initiative or any resulting contract at a later date in accordance with clause I16C04 – Addition/Deletion of Items. Currently Section B contains 2 NSN items managed by DSCC; with 4 quantity ranges per NSN for pricing, and phased delivery requirements. Each NSN, Item Name, Estimated Annual Quantity (EAQ), Unit of Issue, Manufacturer Cage, and Manufacturer Part Number: 6130014554497 CHARGER,BATTERY 35EA 31467 174PS101-2 6130015395931 CHARGER,BATTERY 29EA 31467 330BC101-1 Destination Information: various DLA stock locations. Delivery Schedule: phased delivery with initial quantities to be delivered 125 and 115 days and incremental quantities to be delivered every 30 days thereafter. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The solicitation Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available for download on or about the Solicitation Issue Date of _3-12-10________ ; on the DSCC Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) located at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp/ Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 3 years. This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply Classe 6130. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Approved sources are: Acme Electric Corp. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Various increments in quantity will be solicited per NSN in order to obtain quantity break pricing.
