- The U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Job Corps is seeking qualified contractors that can assist the National Office by providing support for the integration of accommodation services throughout the Job Corps program via education, training, and program support. We are looking for firms that qualify under the Small Business Programs mentioned in Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 19. When submitting your response, please indicate under which programs you meet the criteria. The NAICS Code is 541611, and the Small Business Standard is $6.5 million. Job Cops is an open-entry/open-exit, career skills, academic, and life skills education and vocational training program for at risk youth, ages 16 through 24, with 122 centers in 48 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, Job Corps is primarily residential with a small non-residential component. The program was established in 1964 and is presently authorized under Title I of the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) of 1998. The program is administered by the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Job Corps. In addition to a National Office, there are six Job Corps Regional Offices located nationwide. The Job Corps student integration and accommodation services contract provides education, training, and program support services to the Office of Job Corps in enhancing the accomodation services of the Job Corps program. Activities undertaken to support this mandate: - Applicant Folder Review - Assist in the Review and Evaluation of Accommodation Funding Request - Provide for the Assessment of Center Accomodation Services - Monitor Center Accommodation Services -Technical Assistance Visits - Accommodation Service Policy and Procedure Planning and Development - Newsletters - Annual Conference - Development of Webinars and Online Trainings - Data Collection and Management - Website Management All contractors responding to this announcement must demonstrate their experience in the aforementioned work. Pertinent factors for consideration of qualifications are: •(1) Experience working with youth age 16-24. •(2) Experience developing disability-related training materials. •(3) Experience conducting assessments. (4) Experience providing online training. (5) Experience recruiting health professionals (nurses, physicians, psychologists, social workers, dentists, etc) to work on projects. (6) Experience developing data collection systems. (7) Experience providing conference and logistical support. (8) Experience developing and health and disability related policies. The response must be specific to each of the qualifications listed above to show that the respondent has the skills and experience. The submittals shall not exceed 10 pages, TOTAL.
