Description

The Naval Air Station Patuxent River, MD intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Rockwell Collins, Cedar Rapids IA 52498, for a Quantity (2) each P/N 822-2660-001 TACAN TIM-8000. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own data, drawings or other specifications to permit full and open competition. Award is expected to be 12 March 2010. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This proposal is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by 09 March 2010 by 10:00 am may be considered by the Government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information received.
