Description
This is a sources sought synopsis. This synopsis neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government from an ultimate acquisition approach. This synopsis should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. Requests for solicitation will not receive a response. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the U.S. Government. The U.S. Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any input as a result of this market survey. The U.S. Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey. If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date, a solicitation notice will be published. No award will be made as a result of this market survey. This sources sought is in support of a market survey being conducted by Indian Head Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center(IHD/NSWC) to determine potential sources capable of manufacturing a Dri-Breather Re-Activator equivalent to a Kemp Model DBR-3(with weatherproof electric motor and controls and a 460 VAC heater) for drying air being vented through a Kemp model DB-20 Dri-Breather. 1. The re-activator needs to be weatherproof. It will be located outside underneath a shelter. 2. The heater needs to use 460 VAC power. 3. The connecting flange needs to be a 2" 150 lb. flange made from either stainless steel or carbon steel. 4. The re-activator should be able to remove 26 lbs of water from the Kemp desiccant in a 7 to 8 hour period. 5. Please see attached information on the Kemp DBR-3 andDB-20. All interested sources shall provide a company brochure or list of equipment specifications, organization name, address, a point of contact, phone number, fax number, e-mail address, business size, taxpayer identification number, DUNS number, and CAGE Code.
