Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia, PA intends to acquire maintenance and update support services of SirsiDynix's automated proprietary database management software system consisting of a base period of 12 months plus two (2)one-year option periods. It is intended to award a firm fixed price purchase order. This procurement is being processed under the Simplified Acquisitions Procedures, The proposed procurement is being processed on other than full and open competitive basis with Sirsi Corporation, using simplified acquisition procedures under the authority of the FAR PART 13. Sirsi Corporation is the only firm capable of providing the above requirement. All Interested parties should respond, and identify their interest and capability to the requirement by submitting a proposal. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested sources may submit their request for quotation to Rosa.
