- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Uniforms and Equipment. Please see attachment for specifications. The documentation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-25. This is totally set aside for small businesses. Contractors must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be eligible for award. Register at www.ccr.gov. Offeror must be regisered in the ORCA website at: https://orca.bpn.gov/. The selected offeror must also submit a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - commercial items. Applicable NCAICS Code is 448110 with a $9 million dollar size standard. Award will be made to the lowest offeror whose items and services meet the Government minimum needs and specifications. Complete descriptive literature of the items proposed; items must be brand name for the specifications listed at attachment; 2. Prompt payment terms; 3. Completed copy of provision at DFARS 252.212-7000 Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items. Quotes shall be faxed, or emailed to the attention of Hester Stone at 915-568-8732, hester.stone@us.army.mil, no later than 3:00 PM MDT on 16 March 2010. POC for this solicitation is Ms. Hester Stone. Please see attachment for all descriptions of items and equipment needed. Due to the initial fitting, hemming and resizing, the uniforms require last minute changes and adjustments to ensure they meet the requirements of AR 190-56. As a paramilitary unit, uniformity and the aforementioned uniforms are currently being used by all members of the department and the brand names listed are the uniforms and equipment needed to sustain the unit/tentant organizations uniformity. Vendor must also be able to make changes as needed if required after initial fittings.
