- This pre-solicitation notice is to inform that the VA Medical Center, Bath, New York will be posting a solicitation on or about 3/25/10 to Replace the Medical Air Equipment in the North Service Room, Ground Floor in Building 76. The Medical Air Equipment includes an air compressor, purification system, and suction system. These systems supply the entire hospital with medical air and suction. Work includes Disposal and replacement of existing air compressor, purification system, and suction systems as specified on the plan. Provide any field adjustments, in a timely manner required to allow for variances between old and new equipment. This will include, but not limited to, any field work to slabs, electric, and piping. All piping work will be provided by certified pipefitter qualified for medical air pipefitting. Provide independent testing and certification for the completed system, per specifications. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses. The NAICS code is 238220. The small business standard is $14 M. The cost range is $100,000 to $250,000. Information regarding the one and only site visit scheduled will be stated in the Solicitation. A 20% Bid Bond must be submitted with the bid. Performance and Payment bonds will be required.
