- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to purchase on a sole source manufacturer basis, a quantity of twenty-four (24), part number BC11603-2001, Time and Frequency Circuit Card Assembly as manufactured by Symmetricom, Inc., 2300 Orchard Parkway, San Jose, California 95131-1017. Must meet Government form, fit and function requirements. Only this circuit card assembly has been environmentally qualified as part of an approved configuration. Required delivery of all twenty-four (24) units is 2 - 3 weeks ARO. State all delivery charges that apply. State all warranties. Company must be registered with DoD Wide Area Workflow Receipt and Acceptance (WAWF) system to accept supplies/services delivered under this contract. This web-based system located at https://wawf.eb.mil provides the ability to generate, capture and process receipt and payment-related documentation via a paperless environment. Invoices for supplies/services rendered under this contract shall be submitted electronically through WAWF. The order shall be a firm fixed price purchase order utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is N00178-10-Q-1502 and is a Request for Quote. Only the specific item will meet the Government's requirements. NO SUBSTITUTIONS! All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334418 with a size standard of 500 employees. A firm fixed contract is anticipated. FOB Destination, to MARMC Staging Facility, 2626 Indian River Road, Chesapeake, Virginia 23325 shall apply. Inspection and acceptance will be at destination by Government personnel only. All interested parties must meet delivery date of 19 April 2010. Award anticipated prior to 31 March 2010. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren Laboratory Procurement Division has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition area; therefore, this synopsis and any applicable amendments will be available on the World Wide Web at http://www.nswc.navy.mil/supply. DoD will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database.
