- Description
- The Naval Inventory Control Point - Mechanicsburg intends to award a sole source contract to Micro Focus, Inc. for Micro Focus Server Express Support Renewal. Micro Focus does not allow any reseller to provide the support services for its Application Server for Server Express or Server Express licensing. A reseller may coordinate the purchase of support, but will never actually provide the support. Micro Focus does not discount their support services to their resellers. Therefore, Micro Focus is the least cost provider of this support to the Government. This is not a request for quotation nor an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. Requests for copies of a solicitation will not be honored or acknowledged. The maximum length of the proposed contract will be 12 months, or 1 year. The resulting contract will be firm-fixed priced and negotiation will be conducted using other than full and open competition pursuant to the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 511210. Numbered Note 22 applies.
