Description
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) National Institute of Diabetes, Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) has a requirement to purchase necessary informatics support for their studies. The NIDDK intends to meet these needs by leveraging the software that is already in place at the CRC for the protocol data management and already in use with two protocols. It is seeking services for the CRC clinical trials system for informatics support including automated data entry from devices, and advanced reporting and analyses for the CRC system, known as the Esprit Health eSphere Clinical Trials Data Management System (eSphere). The Contractor shall perform the following tasks: Task 1: Ongoing Protocol Informatics Support. As protocol amendments and/or workflow changes are approved the Contractor will update eSphere, track the history of all changes, maintain database content and disseminate changes to the team. Update customized documentation with changes and train staff as needed. As new study analyses are identified the Contractor will customize the software to produce advanced reports per specifications. Train new study team members as needed. Make modifications to existing data capture forms in eSphere. Work with one (1) designated study team member to provide guidance and assistance to the study team with data monitoring and data management. Provide access to the Esprit Health Customer Care Center, available from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, CST to answer questions as identified. Task 2: System Education / User Training and Documentation. Provide training and utilize related training guides customized for the protocol as needed. Task 3: Perform Automated Data Entry for study related devices. Analyze the data set provided with each device. Configure software to produce required data and format. Devices include: Psychomotor Vigilance Task (PVT) Monitor, Ambulatory Monitoring Inc.; ActiWatch actigraphy device, ActiCal Physical Activity Monitor, Respironics; CT Scan. Task 4: Perform Automated Data Entry for electronic data sets from department systems and external labs. Analyze the data sets provided; Import to include: Nutrient Data; AAFQ; Labs: Leptin, Adinopectin, and CRP. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code 511210 with a size standard of $25.0. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Offerors may request a copy of the Request for Quotation (RFQ) in writing or by FAX to 301-480-8501 to the Contracting Office prior to the closing date of this notice. It is anticipated that RFQ NIHDK2010237 will be available fifteen (15) days after the publication date of this synopsis. Receipt of quotations will be due ten (10) days after the release of the RFQ.
