- Synopsis/Solicitation # N68335-10-T-0117 – Fluke 1587 Multimeter This is a Combined Synopsis/ Solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N68335-10-T-0117 is issued by the United States Navy as a Request for Quote to purchase seventy six (76) each of the FLUKE 1587 Insulation Multimeter (a battery-operated digital insulation tester which provides insulation resistance testing capability at 0.01 mega-ohms to 2.0 giga-ohms at test voltages of 50, 100, 250, 500 and 1000V). Manufacturer is Fluke Corporation. Part number is 1587. This is a commercial off-the-shelf product. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334515. This requirement is a total (100%) Small Business Set Aside and only those firms meeting the size standard will be considered. A qualified offeror for this acquisition must be an authorized distributor of the manufacturer, Fluke Corporation. The Contractor shall extend to the Government full coverage of any standard commercial warranty normally offered in a similar commercial sale. Acceptance of the warranty does not waive the Government’s right under the inspection clause, nor does it limit the Government’s rights with regard to the other terms and conditions of the resulting contract. In the event of a conflict, the terms and conditions of the contract shall take precedence over the warranty. The warranty period shall begin upon acceptance by the Government of the delivered product. Award will be made to the qualified, responsible offeror who provides the lowest priced quote. All qualified, responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. All items shall be preserved, packaged, and marked in accordance with best commercial practices. Items shall be delivered to the Government no later than thirty (30) days after contract award [earlier delivery is acceptable and encouraged]. FOB is Destination. Inspection and acceptance will be at Destination. Items will be shipped to: NAVAIR Lakehurst MV-22/CV-22 Program Highway 547, Bldg 195 (Hanger 6) Lakehurst, NJ 08733 The offeror shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certification Commercial Items (August 2009) with the quote.
