Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract for project number: 40181AQ047 for the Installation of a photovoltaic light system in the parking lot at J.N. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge (NWR), Sanibel, Florida. This Total Small Business Set-Aside (Emerging Small Business) requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 36; Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts, FAR Part 15; Contracting by Negotiation and FAR 19.10; Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. A site visit is scheduled for 17 March 2010 at 1:00pm (EST). Instructions for the site visit shall be outlined in RFQ# 40181AQ047 which can be accessed on the National Business Center website ( http://ideasec.nbc.gov/ ). The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $50,000. The NAICS code is 238210, size standard: $14 Million. The RFQ will be issued electronically on/about 11 March 2010 on the National Business Center website ( http://ideasec.nbc.gov/ ). The Response Date/Time is 23 March 2010 by 11:59am (EST). Questions or clarifications concerning any ambiguities in the solicitation shall be immediately addressed in e-mail form to dartamien_brown@fws.gov. Please include the RFQ number in the subject line of the e-mail. It is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any amendments/modifications to any and all documents. It is anticipated the following viewers will be needed to view the solicitation and attachments posted: Microsoft Word (.doc) and Adobe Acrobat Reader (.pdf). A firm-fixed price contract will be issued, with a performance period of 60 days. Anticipated date of award will be on or about March 31, 2010. NOTE: In order to be eligible for award, prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and complete the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at http://www.ccr.gov.
