- This is a sources sought synopsis. The intent of this sources sought synopsis is to identify potential qualified 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone), Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and Small Business (SB) offerors. The Naval Facilities Engineering Service Center (NFESC) will use the responses to this sources sought synopsis to make appropriate acquisition decisions for the planned contract. This Sources Sought announcement is a Market Survey for written information only. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. No telephone calls will be accepted. After review of the responses submitted regarding this potential acquisition, a solicitation announcement will be published in the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) and in the Federal Business Opportunities (FEDBIZOPPS) websites, if the Government intends to continue with the procurement. Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) is the Navy's Ashore ATFP Program Manager (PM) and Execution Agent. The program management, technical, and integrated logistics services required to support the NAVFAC ATFP Ashore Program under the guidance and direction provided by the Commander, Naval Installations Command (CNIC) Shore Installation Protection Program are comprised of three major categories: 1)Physical Security Systems: Access Control Systems(ACS); Air Defense; Counter-Bomber; Explosives Detection; Inspections; Intrusion Response; and Waterside Protection.2)Command and Control: Wide-Area Alert and Notification (WAAN); Attack Assessment; Command, Control, Communications, Computers & Intelligence (C4I); Decision Support System (DSS); Early Warning; Operations Centers (OC); Reconnaissance; and Security Surveillance. 3)CBRN: Detection, Protection, Response, Recovery, Medical Response and Surveillance.
