- NSN: 5996-01-107-2569 NT.OEM Code: 82918.PN: 163450-04-01.Description: Electronic Amplifier is an analog computer device whichreceives altitude, azimuth and acceleration outputs of the displacementgyroscope and the compensation signals from the MCEC; applies to theB52H Aircraft. Dimensions are approximately 14.50 inches long, 10.50inches wide and 8.00 inches high. Weight is approximately 21.3 lbs.Material is cast aluminum with various electronic components.Quantity: Min 5 each, Max 29 Each.Destination: FB2039, Tinker AFB.Delivery Schedule: 19 each on or before 30 JUN 2011.This is a sole source requirement to GE Aviation Systems (Cage 35351).Suitable technical data, Government data rights or manufacturingknowledge are not available to permit acquisition from other sources.Neither qualification testing of another part or use of a second sourcepart in the intended application is permitted. GE is currently the onlyknown source that can satisfy the Government's requirement.All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, orquotation which shall be considered by the agency.One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Free TradeAgreements.An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors orpotential offerors during the proposal development phase of thisacquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish theauthority of the program director or contracting officer, but tocommunicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, andrecommendations to the appropriate government personnel. Whenrequested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as tosource of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in theevaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. Interestedparties are invited to call the Ombudsman at (405) 734-8253. DO NOT CALLTHIS NUMBER FOR SOLICITATION REQUESTS.Based upon market research, the Government is not using policiescontained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in itssolicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interestedparties may identify to the contracting officer their interest andcapability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercialitem within 15 days of this notice.Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. Request forWritten Quotation/Proposal will be issued. Only written or faxedrequest received directly from the requestors are acceptable. Theanticipated award date will be 60 to 90 days after the issuance of thisnotice.
