- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about 19 April 2009 with the intention to conduct a full and open competition for depot level overhaul, repair, and refurbishment of fifty six (56), HS54H60-77 propeller assemblies to be delivered in support of P3-C aircraft under the terms and conditions of a Foreign Military Sale (FMS) to the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office (TECRO). The propeller assemblies are currently installed on P-3 aircraft in long term storage at Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG), Tucson, AZ. AMARG will remove the propeller assemblies and provide them to the Contractors on Contractor furnished stands. The propellers are to be overhauled and refurbished by the Contractor in accordance with current U.S. Navy technical directives. NAVAIR anticipates a Firm Fixed Price contract. The RFP and copies of Attachment (1) Performance Work Statement for U.S. Government (USG) FMS Case TW-P-SEG Taiwan Navy (TN) P-3C Program (TN P-3C) 54H60-77 Propeller Assembly, Overhaul, and Repair and Exhibit (A) Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) will be posted to the NAVAIR solicitation website at http://www.navair.navy.mil/doing_business/open_solicitations. The solicitation number is N00019-10-R-0033. Contract award is anticipated in late FY10 or early FY 11.
