- The Federal Aviation Administration is currently seeking responsible contractors for the Replacement of the HVAC System at the Airport Surveillance Radar (ASR) located in Yakima, WA. This announcement is the successor to the pre-solicitation announcement posted on 3/9/2010. There is an OPTIONAL ONE TIME site visit offered on April 1st, 2010 at 1:00 PM (PDT). Contractors who would like to attend the site visit must submit an email to: Blaise.Ungerman@faa.gov by 4:00 PM (PDT) on March 30, 2010. In the email include the following information: Company's Name:Name(s) of Representative(s):Title(s):Contact Phone Number: This project is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). This project is classified under NAICS Code 238220, size standard of $14.0 Million. Estimated total value: Between $100,000 - $250,000. ALL QUESTIONS CONCERNING THIS REQUEST FOR OFFER (RFO) ARE DUE NO LATER THAN 4:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) on April 12, 2010. OFFERS ARE DUE NO LATER THAN 4:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) on April 20, 2010. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
