- THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR 128CHANNEL SIGNAL CONDITIONING SYSTEM. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) intheir quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and awritten amendment will not be issued.The purpose of this amendment is to post answers to the questions below and to post theattached Statement of Work (SOW).http://procurement.jsc.nasa.gov/NNJ10331183Q/SOW_Signal_Conditioning_System.docx Question 1: What kinds of sensors do the signal conditioner/transducer inputs need to beable to interface with? Strain gages: If so, which type (1/4, 1/2, full, or all of theabove ) and ohm range (120 ohm, 350 ohm, or both)? Voltages: Which voltage span isneeded? Temperature? Which kinds of sensors? Accelerometers? ICP? Charge? Maximumbandwidth needed per channel? Bit resolution per channel? Sample rate per channel?Sensorpower needed to be provided?Answer 1: See section 2.1.3 of the SOWQuestion 2: What output type and format is needed for the transduced signals? Answer 2: The output is an analog signal over the range of +/- 10 volts dc with anaccuracy of +/-.05%. Question 3: It seems that you have specified a system which has both ethernet and USBinterfaces... does the data need to come out via ethernet?Answer 3: The data is an analog signal; the Ethernet is used to set up thesoftware/hardware to accept the type of transducer signal.Question 4: How is the system controlled?Answer 4: The system will be controlled by a PC using Ethernet communication.The due date for receipt of offers is not extended.Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASAAcquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on March 10, 2010. Documents related to thisprocurement are available over the Internet. These documents reside on a World Wide Web(WWW) server which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
