- All attendees must complete this form and sumbit it to the Primary POC by COB 5 April, 2010. This document contains a synopsis of the first LISC industry day, as well as registration requirments. LISC Industry Day 1 (9 April, 2010) General Information Primary POC: George Sullivan, George.Sullivan@losangeles.af.mil, (310) 653-1772 Secondary POC: Ms. Van Choat, Van.Choat@losangeles.af.mil, (310) 653-2488 Purpose The Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC), Launch and Range Systems Wing (LRSW), Los Angeles Air Force Base, California intends to host Launch Integrated Support Contract (LISC) Industry Day #1 from 0900hrs PST to 1400hrs PST at the Gordon Conference Center, Area 1 in Building 270 on 9 April, 2010. Check-in will begin at 0800hrs PST. LISC Industry Day #1 will provide a LISC overview, a schedule update, and networking opportunities. In addition, the Government will conduct a market survey of small businesses. All qualified contractors, including small and small disadvantaged businesses, are encouraged to attend. Background In partnership with the 30th and 45th Space Wings, the Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC), Launch and Range Systems Wing (LRSW), Los Angeles Air Force Base, California is contemplating the feasibility of acquiring a long-term, follow-on contract that would consolidate the existing Spacelift Range System Contract (SLRS) contract, the Western Range Operations Communications and Information (WROCI) contract, and the Eastern Range Technical Services (ERTS) contract. Questions: All questions associated with this LISC Industry Day shall be submitted in writing prior to 6 April 2010 to the Government Procurement Contracting Office via email to: george.sullivan@losangeles.af.mil. Questions should neither involve classified nor proprietary matters. At any time after receipt of comments/questions, the Government reserves the right to contact respondents for further clarification of the comments/questions. Additionally, questions and Government responses will be posted through FedBizOps prior to release of the (Draft) Request For Proposal. Small Business Consideration: Participation from small business and small, disadvantaged business firms are highly encouraged. Firms responding should indicate if they are a small business, a socially and economically disadvantaged business, 8(a) firms, HUBZone, historically black colleges, and minority institutions on the attached registration form. The Small Business point of contact is Mr. Willard Strozier at 310-653-1108. DECLARATION: This publication is for information only and does not constitute a Request for Proposal. The Air Force will not assume liability for costs incurred by an attendee for travel expenses or marketing efforts; therefore, attendee cost in response to this notice is not considered an allowable direct charge to the Government. In addition, non-participants will not be excluded from submitting a proposal in response to an RFP. Registration All parties intending to participate must complete the attached registration form and submit to the POC via e-mail listed above no later than COB, 1700hrs, 5 April, 2010. Access to LAFB is restricted, attendees must present a CURRENT photo ID (driver's license, military ID, company ID or passport) matching the attendee information submitted via the Registration Form to gain entry into the event. A company may send no more than three attendees. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to permit sufficient time for check-in. This is an UNCLASSIFIED event; no clearances are required.
