Description
This is Amendment No. 001 to the solicitation. The purpose of Amendment No. 001 is to respond to questions submitted in response to the solicitation. See below. Question #1: The specs seem to be very specific is there a certain brand and model# that these came from that you would like us to offer bids from? Response #1: No Question #2: What is the clear sidewall manufactured from? Response #2: Plexiglas Question #3: What is the internal reinforcement made from? Response #3: Steel Question #4: Do you have a picture of the clear sidewall? Response #4: No Question #5: Can you provide a detail drawing/sketch photo showing the current flap if it exist? Rsponse #5: Refer to the drawing Question #6: Please confirm flap should rise 5" above the packing surface of the pallet. Response #6: Refer to the drawing Question #7: Can you provide a detail drawing/sketch or photo showing the current ditch if it exists? Response #7: Refer to the drawing Question #8: In the drawing provided it appears to show 4 steel reinforcement supports in the pallet. Is there a desired number of reinforcements and can you provide information about the steel reinforcement item. thickness, material and height? It looks like this part extends across the full length of the pallet is this correct? Response #8: Yes, the steel reinforcements extend the full length of the pallet. The steel reinforcements must support no less than 1,550 lbs of weight collectively. Question #9: Color of Pallet? Response #9:Black Question #10: Are you looking for structural elements molded into the side panels? Response #10: The sidewalls must be internally reinforced. Question #11: Are you stating internal structural support members that extend inwards at the same time holding a cleas exterior surface. If you're looking for interior supports features, how far can they extend inside the container? What is the O.D. of the item to be shipped? Response #11: Refer to the drawing Question #12: Can you provide a detail drawing/sketch or photos showing the current ditch if it exist? Response #12: No ditch exists currently. Question #13: Please confirm you're looking for 25lbs for 2 of the 4 walls or 50lbs max for all four walls required? Response #13: The two sidewalls shouldn't exceed 50 lbs, 25 lbs a piece. Question #14: Can you provide a detail drawing/sketch or photos showing the current ditch if it exists? Response #14: No ditch exists currently.
