Description: onstruction of approximately 14,000 square feet of secure Joint Air Force, Army, Navy (JAFAN) area, 1,700 square feet of flight simulator area and Life Support Functions. Renovation of the existing Building 191 includes demolition of selected building partitions, fixtures, and interior finishes. Building system upgrades include: HVAC, mass notification, fire protection, sanitary sewer, plumbing fixtures, interior layout and finishes. The project has been designed to meet U. S. Green Building Council (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Silver rating. The Construction Cost Limitation for the project is approximately $5,300,000.00. This is a Design/Bid/Build Best Value 8(a) competitive procurement, restricted to 8(a) contractors under SBA Region 5. Bid Bonds are required.Evaluation Criteria presently includes Prime Contractor Experience and Prime Contractor Past Performance.
