- Description
- The Bureau of Land Management is utilizing Blanket Purachse Agreement L10PA00578 to award the subject requirement to Premeir Data Services. Below is a general description of the requirement. Land Status records consist primarily of Master Title (MT) and Use plats and Historical Index (HI) pages. All actions affecting the use of public lands are recorded on the Historical Index pages with current cases graphically portrayed on the plats. The plats and HIs are used to process renewable energy applications therefore the information portrayed should be accurate and current as well as being in a digital format, well-organized, and accessible in an effective and efficient manner. The LR2000 database consists of 3 major databases derived from the daily workings of the lands and mineral staff. The Status database contains case information that affects administration of public lands, i.e. patents, withdrawals. The Case Recordation database contains information pertaining to temporary actions that affect the availability of federally administered lands for approved actions, i.e. oil and gas leasing, wind energy farms. The Legal Land Description database provides information pertaining to the official cadastral survey of record and the derivation of corresponding legal descriptions. The information contained in the LR2000 databases is instrumental in providing public access to case information and, since it contains legal land descriptions and acreage associated with each case, one should be able to derive geospatial information easily and on demand. To accomplish the requirements of this task, the vendor shall verify that all official records and other documents affecting renewable energy areas are current, complete, and in digital format. This includes scanning of approximately two million controlled document index (CDI) cards. The vendor shall assure data contained in LR2000 accurately and precisely reflects the official record in accordance with revised LR2000 standards with land description that can be mapped in GIS. The vendor shall prepare data to be published on either the intranet or internet.
