Description
This is a full and open competitive three-year IDIQ for the Liquid Consumables, NSN: 6850-01-512-4430, PRF EA-C-2268A 30 November 2007 and Sterile Bottles, NSN: 6850-01-512-4433, PRF EA-C-2268A 30 November 2007. The anticipated maximum three-year quantity is 44,000 for both items combined. Past Performance will be evaluated. FOB is Destination. A First Article Test (FAT) is required. The Liquid Consumables Package consists of two large bottles, 8.44 inches x 3.69 inches sq., standard neck size 38-430, one with DI water ASTM D 1193, Type I Reagent Water and one with Detergent DI Water and Contrad 70, 3 Septum caps per bottle, Std. size 38-430, Self-Sealing against 0.065 diameter x 0.875 long needles and one small bottle, 5.56 inches high x 238 inches sq., standard neck size 38-430, with standard PBS. All materials have to stand against 5-10 kilogray gamma irradiation without degradation. Material is shatter proof and fracture resistant. The filled and sealed container shall be sterilized by gamma irradiation or an approved government method. The Sterile Bottles consist of two small bottles, 5.56 inches high x 2.38 inches sq., standard neck size 38-430, two septum caps, standard size 38-430, Self-Sealing against 0.065 diameter x 0.875 long needles. All materials have to stand against 5-10 kilogray gamma irradiation without degradation. Material is shatter proof and fracture resistant. The filled and sealed container shall be sterilized by gamma irradiation or an approved government method. Estimated issue date is April 16, 2010. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501 and 5.102, therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/AAIS/Solinfo/index.htm. CAUTION: The solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any said amendments, which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments or respond to them prior to the date and time set for the bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
