- Description
- The United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA), Office of Policy, Economics and Innovation (OPEI) anticipates conducting a full and open competition for technical support services for its National Center for Environmental Economics (NCEE). The work performed by the Contractor shall include technical support for research, evaluation and analysis of data in the areas of: activities impacting natural resources; assessment of impacts in terms of emissions released to the air, water and land; human and ecological exposure assessments; human and ecological risk characterization; and economic implications of activities impacting natural resources as it relates to the Agency?s regulatory and non-regulatory programs. This shall include Agency policies impacting sectors of the economy relying on consumptive and non-consumptive uses of our natural resources to include food and fiber production, agribusiness, food processing, forestry, mining and recreation/tourism. This procurement will be conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541611, Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services. The Small Business Size Standard is $7.0 Million. The Request for Proposals (RFP) will be posted on the Internet on or about April 19, 2010. Proposals shall be due approximately thirty (30) days after the RFP issuance date. The anticipated contract type is cost-plus-fixed fee, level of effort with work ordered through work assignments. The period of performance is expected to be one base year with four (4) one-year option periods. The estimated level of effort for each period is 46,000 hours.
