Description

The National Park Service, Petrified Forest National Park intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for the following work located at Painted Desert Concessions building, Petrified Forest, Arizona: REPLACE EXISTING CHILLED WATER COOLING SYSTEM WITH REFRIGERATED COOLING SYSTEM; REPLACE EXISTING DRAINAGE LINES, AND RELOCATE ELECTRICAL LINES FOR KITCHEN EQUIPMENT. The contractor will provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation, and supervision in order to perform the work in accordance with the Statement of Work. Solicitation is being issued as 100% Set Aside for HUBZONE concerns. Offers are solicited from eligible and qualified HUBZONE firms. NAICS 238220; size standard is $14.0 million dollars. Offerors must have current registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications via ORCA.Gov website. A site visit is scheduled for Thrusday, April 22, 2010 at 10 AM at Petrified Forest Visitor's Center. Interstate 40, exit 311. Contractors planning to attend this pre-solicitation meeting shall contact via email elizabeth_baierl@nps.gov to ensure access to the Park. No more than three (3) representatives per firm may attend this meeting, due to space availability. NOTE: RSVP must be done prior to April 22, 2010 to ensure access to the Park for this meeting. Individual tours or meetings will not be conducted nor permitted. Official release of solicitation is anticipated to be on / or about April 20, 2010 with closing date for all offers due May 13, 2010 at 10 AM PST.
