- THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The solicitation will beavailable on or about Friday April 16, 2010 at https://www.neco.navy.mil/.Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southeast, Jacksonville, FL iscurrently seeking construction contractors for Solicitation NumberN69450-10-R-0760 to obtain construction services for Naval Air StationCorpus Christi, TX that will entail the construction (design-bid- build) ofRoad Repairs. Project Scope is: ROAD REPAIRS. This project will be for construction ofroad repairs which includes milling, re-construction, hotmixed asphalt &concrete overlay, seal-coating, striping & painting of pavement markings,and selective replacement of curb & gutters and storm sewer inlets & piping. This solicitation is being issued as Total Small Business Set Aside. Thisis a negotiated procurement, using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptablethat will result in a Firm Fixed-Price Construction Contract. The Governmentanticipates a contract award for this project in June 2010. The appropriateNAICS Code is 237310 Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction, with a sizestandard of $33,500,000. The estimated cost of construction (budget range) is over $10,000,000. Thecontract duration is 365 calendar days from date of contract award. SITE VISIT: The clauses at 52.236-2, Differing Site Conditions, and52.236-3, Site Investigations and Conditions Affecting the Work, will beincluded in any contract awarded as a result of this solicitation. Accordingly, offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect thesite where the work will be performed. A site visit is planned. The dateand time will be announced in the solicitation. NOTE: THIS WILL BE THEONLY SITE VISIT HELD FOR THIS SOLICITATION. Additional requests for sitevisits will not be entertained. This solicitation will be posted to https://www.neco.navy.mil/ under thesolicitation number N69450-10-R-0760. The solicitation will be available fordownload free-of-charge via the internet at https://www.neco.navy.mil/. Thiswill be the only method of distribution of amendments; therefore IT IS THEOFFERORS RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEBSITE, https://www.neco.navy.mil/,PERIODICALLY FOR ANY AMENDMENTS TO THIS SOLICITATION. The Government will not pay for information requested nor will itcompensate any respondent for any proposal.The successful offeror must be currently registered in the Department ofDefense Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, with a valid DUNSnumber, prior to contract award. Offerors not already registered in the CCRdatabase are highly encouraged to do so by calling 1 (888) 227-2423, or viainternet at http://www.ccr.gov. Failure to register in the DOD CCR databasemay render the successful offeror ineligible for award.
