- The ESTIMATED ISSUE DATE Electronically in Federal Business Opportunities is April 20, 2010. Estimated Response Date: May 20, 2010 Description: RECOVERY - Recreation Site Surfacing Rehab (Lagoon Campground) - THIS IS AN AMERICAN AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) PROCUREMENT Work includes tree removal, asphalt removal, excavation and embankment of local material, aggregate placement, asphalt placement, and striping. The Government estimate range between $100,000 and $250,000. In accordance with the Miller Act a performance bond and payment bond are required since the magnitude of this construction project exceeds $100,000 a bid guarantee will be necessary. The Contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, material, equipment, services and facilities (except as otherwise specified), to perform the Statement of Work/Specifications, which will be referenced in Section J of the solicitation. The anticipated period of performance is 30 days from the effective date of the notice to proceed. The Government intends to issue a firm fixed price contract. Project work will be confined to the Siuslaw National Forest, Central Coast Ranger District. The project can be located as follows: From Florence Oregon travel south on HWY 101 approximately 8 miles to Forest Service road 1070, follow Forest Service road 1070 approximately 0.8 miles to the project location. The resulting orders shall utilize funds provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009. Inclusion of unique provisions required implementing the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements by the successful offeror will be required.
