- This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the onlysolicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for one commercial modelinstrument that measures ambient Earth atmospheric CO2/CH4/H2O (carbon dioxide, methane,water vapor) in a quasi-simultaneous, automatic, measurement cycle.The instrument must be suitable for deployment and continuous measurement on an aircraft,which will fly from the Earth's surface to 25,000 feet, or higher, on a sortie for amaximum duration of 6 hours. The offeror shall state in their offer their size status forthis procurement.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.Delivery to NASA Ames Research Center, Receiving Section, Building 255, Moffett Field, CA94035-0001 is required within 90 days ARO.
