- Project Description WA FS ERFO 071-2021, White Chuck River Road Emergency Repairs, Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, Snohomish, Washington. This project consists of.956 miles of realigning the roadway around 3 sites where the existing road was washed out in the 2007-8 storm season. Work is described as grading, drainage, aggregate surfacing, riprap bank protection and other small items of work. See "Description of Work" for additional details. NOTICE OF SUBCONTRACTING OPPORTUNITY WA FS ERFO 071-2021, White Chuck River Road Emergency Repairs will be solicited to the Washington Area MATOC contractors. Information on the MATOC contractors may be found on our web site at: http://www.wfl.fhwa.dot.gov/contracting/construction/idiq/wa-area.htm This project is anticipated to be solicited 04/26/2010. Project magnitude is between $2 million and $3 million. Work shall be completed by 9/1/2011. This paragraph announces possible financing available to small businesses. The three types of businesses that are eligible to receive a loan through this program are: (1) Firms that have received DBE certification from a state or local transportation agency; (2) Firms that have been certified by the SBA as a Small Business; and (3) Firms that have received a disability rating by the Veteran's Administration and have certified themselves as a SDVOSB. Start-up businesses are not eligible to receive a STLP line of credit and should contact the SBA for information about other possible forms of financial assistance. (NOTE - This paragraph does not reserve this solicitation for these types of business): The Department of Transportation's (DOT) Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
