- The project is for the contractor to perform Integrated Pest Management (IPM) services for the buildings, grounds and other areas specified herein on Fort Belvoir and designated areas. All pest management operations on Fort Belvoir must be in accordance with and comply with the specifications in the current Fort Belvoir Integrated Pest Management Plan (IPMP), the Fort Belvoir Pest Management Policy Letter, and pest management Directives, Regulations and Statutes objective of the IPM program is to implement best management practices and current technology, emphasizing the least toxic methods to control pest populations in a cost-effective, environmentally sound manner. NAICS #: The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561710. SET ASIDE: This requirement is 100% Set-Aside for Small Businesses SOLICITATION TYPE: Request for Quote (RFQ) CONTRACT TYPE: Firm Fixed-Price PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Anticipated performance period is May 1st 2010- April 30th 2011. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The solicitation notices and any/all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading at Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Website https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ at no charge. No paper copies will be issued. When the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the aforementioned site regularly for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov. This Pre-Solicitation Notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract; it does not restrict the Governments ultimate approach; it does not obligate the Government to pay for any bid preparation cost/s.
