Description: RECOVERY, Remove and replace existing HVAC equipment at various buildings of the Harpers Ferry National Historical Park, HAFE, PMIS #154968, TAS 149 01041. The Harpers Ferry National Historical Park (HAFE), located in Harpers Ferry, WV, has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, tools, and equipment to remove and replace existing HVAC equipment is Building No. 40 (Ready Made Clothing Museum), the Cavalier Heights Visitor Center and Kiosk, the Maintenance Shop, and the second floor of Building No. 45 (Bookstore) of the Park. The specific tasks are described in the Statement of Work. The project magnitude is estimated to be between $25,000.00 to $100,000.00. The Request for Quotation (Q3850100046), will be issued in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The solicitation will be posted to http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about April 12, 2010. The project performance period is 75 days after receipt of a firm-fixed-price purchase order. This is a competitive Total Small Business Set-Aside requirement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this requirement is 238220 with a small business size standard of $14.0M. The Government anticipates award of one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase Order to the offeror whose offer represents the best value to the Government. The solicitation and any applicable amendments and questions and answers relating to this requirement shall be available via the Internet at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the web site. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant purchase order. To be eligible for award, offerors must be actively registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) web site at www.ccr.gov. Potential offerors are required to direct all questions via email to sherri_miller@nps.gov no later than Tuesday, April 20, 2010, 1600 hours, EST. No hard copies of the solicitation package will be mailed or issued. To receive the solicitation package you must download it from http://www.fedbizopps.gov. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by the Government.
