Description
FOR REPLACING FOUR EXISTING PERIMETER FENCES WITH FOUR NEW CHAIN LINK FENCES AND INSTALLING THREE NEW CONCRETE FOUNDATIONS AT THE MALSR, RUNWAY 34, ASHEVILLE REGIONAL AIRPORT, ASHEVILLE, NC, as outlined in the Scope of work and Specifications of the contract. The FAA anticipates award of a contract.Issue date for solicitation: April 9, 2010Due date for offers: April 29, 2010 at 4:00 pm. Estimated start date for performance: June 1, 2010 This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small businesses within a 100-mile radius. Site Visit should be scheduled through Jeff Alexander PE, Civil Engineer, Tel: 803-822-4412. The NAICS codes for the acquisition are 238990, Fence Installation. To be considered by award of this project, the contractor must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database (website: ww.ccr.gov). Wargo at mike.wargo@faa.gov This notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
