- The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Northwest is in the process of awarding a Sole Source Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) Contract to provide services to support Task Order KR02, under Contract N62473-08-D-8823 which was awarded to Tetra Tech EC on September 28, 2009. Task Order KR02 includes landfill mitigation, restoration, stabilization and repair of various structures such as damaged wells, signs, drainage channels and compromised Land Usage Controls at the Former Naval Complex, Adak, Alaska. The FFP Contract is to provide the required services which include UXO support, and repair of roads and various structures. Transportation of all tools, material, equipment and supplies to Adak is also part of this requirement. The work plans for this work have been completed under Task Order KR02. This sole source requirement is pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. This Notice of Intent is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOIs), competitive proposals or proposals. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of EOIs, proposals or quotations received in response to this notice. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, and must furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide the services sought including pricing data and technical data sufficient to determine that a comparable source to the Government is available. The Government will be the sole determiner regarding an Offeror's ability to meet the requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether a comparable service is available and whether the requirement should be competed. All responses or questions must be in writing via email (no telephone inquires will be accepted), send all responses/or questions to Ms. Kimberly Gillette, at Kimberly.gillette@navy.mil. All responsible sources will be considered. The Government will consider all submissions received prior to 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis.
