Description
Laboratory-Scale Precision High-Pressure Syringe Pump per Attachment #1 Technical Requirements/Specifications. NOTICE: All Technical Questions Concerning This Requirement Should be Directed to Mr. Robert Warzinski at 412-386-5863. NOTICE: Vendors are strongly encouraged to submit their Request for Quotation (RFQ SF-18) or proposal(s) via the FEDCONNECT.NET portal at www.fedconnect.net. Request for Quotation (RFQ SF-18) or proposal(s) shall also be accepted via email. Vendors may email their RFQs or proposal(s) to the Purchasing Agent assigned to this requirement, who is Lora Stumpf (412-386-4675), email address lora.stumpf@netl.doe.gov. EVALUATION/SELECTION CRITERIA:Selection Criteria: The primary criteria that will be used for selection are listed below. In achieving the goals of this solicitation, performance of the system may override pricing considerations. - Pressure range and control. - Flow range and control.- Delivery volume and control. - Accuracy and stability of pressure and flow. - Corrosion resistance.- Versatility. Pump functions capable of local and remote control. - Safety. All electrical systems shall meet national standards. All pressure design must conform to NETL/ORD Approved Engineering and Design Codes, which are part of this solicitation. - Noise. Quiet operation of the pump is desired. A description of the maximum noise level shall be provided. - Footprint. The laboratory area that is to contain the pump(s) is not large and must accommodate other equipment; therefore, the footprint of the unit will be a significant consideration in selection. The vendor shall indicate if the pump can operate in different orientations that may reduce its footprint and whether these alternate orientations are achievable without addition support. Guidance: It is highly recommended that vendors respond directly to these Technical Requirements/Specifications that are attached to this solicititation and to this Selection/Evaluation Criteria. Simply supplying a standard company quote without specifically addressing these items may result in disqualification from consideration. The ability to adequately meet NETL's particular needs in these matters must be addressed in a clear and concise manner. It is possible that not all of the requirements can be met; therefore, potential bidders shall clearly define their pump's strengths and weaknesses with respect to the attached requirements and clearly point out any limitations or variances. Pricing shall be provided per individual pump, with any discounts shown for purchasing two pumps.
