Description
Project Description WY PRA YELL 12(1), Northeast Entrance Road, Lamar River Bridge, Yellowstone National Park, Park County, Wyoming. This project consists of.66 miles of bridge construction, grading, base, drainage, paving and other small items of work. The proposed project includes construction of a 3-span, 420-foot long steel girder bridge with cast-in-place concrete deck. The steel girders vary in depth from 3'-9" at midspan, to 6'-0" haunch depth at the abutments and piers. Abutments are founded on 3-foot diameter drilled shafts. Piers are supported on 6-foot drilled shafts. The work includes demolition of the existing steel girder bridge upon completion of the new structure. See "Description of Work" for additional details. NOTICE OF SUBCONTRACTING OPPORTUNITY WY PRA YELL 12(1), Northeast Entrance Road, Lamar River Bridge will be solicited to the Yellowstone/Grand Teton MATOC contractors. Information on the MATOC contractors may be found on our web site at: http://www.wfl.fhwa.dot.gov/edi/idiq/ygt.htm This project is anticipated to be solicited June 6, 2010 Project magnitude is between $7 million and $10 million Work shall be completed by August 20, 2012. This paragraph announces possible financing available to small businesses. The three types of businesses that are eligible to receive a loan through this program are: (1) Firms that have received DBE certification from a state or local transportation agency; (2) Firms that have been certified by the SBA as a Small Business; and (3) Firms that have received a disability rating by the Veteran's Administration and have certified themselves as a SDVOSB. Start-up businesses are not eligible to receive a STLP line of credit and should contact the SBA for information about other possible forms of financial assistance. (NOTE - This paragraph does not reserve this solicitation for these types of business): The Department of Transportation's (DOT) Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts. The Maximum line of credit is $750,000. The STLP loan has a variable rate, which is connected to the prime rate. For more information see: http://osdbuweb.dot.gov/financial/index.cfm.
