- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://ww.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Systems Command. Note: The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, Rhode Island is NOT accepting quotes or proposals via submission through NECO. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, RI is planning tjo procure on an Unrestricted basis a toatal of 22 each WSQ-9 Electrical Hull Fittings under SUBSAFE/Level 1 requirements with delivery to Norfolk, VA. To be considered for award, an offeror must be NAVSEA SUBSAFE certified by the time of solicitation closing. The Base requriement consists of 5 ea. P/N 7502540 & 2 ea. P/N PPD 802-6337554.7.5.1 with delivery by 01 June 2011; Option 1 consists of 1 ea P/Ns 7502540-1; 7534800-1; and PPD 802-6337554.7.5.1 wiht delivery by 01 October 2011; Option 2 consists of 3 ea. P/N 7502540 & 2 ea. P/N PPD 802-6337554.7.5.1 with delivery by 01 April 2012; and Option 3 consists of 3 ea. P/N 7502540 & 2 ea. P/N PPD 802-6337554.7.5.1 with delivery by 01 April 2013. Drawings are stamped "Distribution: D" and will be provided separately on disk. To receive a copy, firms must be certified under the Joint Certification Program (JCP) managed for Defense Logistics Information Service, Battle Creek, MI as evidenced by a JCP Certification in the Business Identification Number Cross reference System (BINCS). Solicitation will be issued in less than 15 days per FAR 5.203(a) & (h). The solicitation will be made available no earlier than 05 May 2010.
