SOLICITATION NUMBER: M67004-10-T-0162 SOLICITATION CLOSES: 12 May 2010 at 4:00 P.M. Telephone: (229) 639-9826, Email: judy.washington@usmc.mil, This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as suplemented with additional information included with or attached to this notice. THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION. This Request for Quotation is 100% Set-Aside for Small Businesses. Only offers received from certified small businesses will be considered for award. NAICS 334513 - Instruments and Related Products Manufacturing for Measuring, Displaying, and Controlling Industrial Process Variables, size standard of 500 employees applies. A firm-fixed price contract with a base year plus two option years is anticipated. The government reserves the right to make no awards resulting from this solicitation. The following services are required for Marine Corps Logistics Command, Maintenance Center Albany, GA. STATEMENT OF REQUIREMENTS This requirement is for the calibration of five (5) different models of Starrett Webber gage block sets. Each model consist of several serial numbers. Each set will be sent for calibration once every 12 months. The gage block sets shall receive an ISO 17025 accredited calibration and certificates of calibration provided in accordance with ISO 17025. Gage block sets will be shipped from the Government to the Vendor according to calibration due dates. Vendor will have 10 days from the date of receipt of the gage block set to calibrate in accordance with the above standards and return to the Government. If, during calibration procedures, a gage block is found defective/not repairable, the calibration contractor shall immediately notify the Government of the defective gage. It shall be returned with the set and clearly annotated as "defective". Replacement is not part of this anticipated contract and the vendor will not be reimbursed for replacements through this anticipated contract vehicle. If replacement gages are needed, the purchase will be made separately by purchase card or other means. The order may or may not be placed with the calibration contractor. ALL VENDORS SUBMITTING QUOTES FOR THIS REQUIREMENT MUST BE ISO 17025 ACCREDITED FOR GAGE BLOCK CALIBRATION.
